Rapid Toxicity Assessment with QwikLite 200 Biosensor System Featured at 2010 National Monitoring Conference

Vista, California, January 12, 2010 — Assure Controls, Inc. has been selected to present at the 2010 National Monitoring Conference being held in Denver, Colorado, April 25-29. The conference will focus on the many facets of water quality and water quantity monitoring for improved understanding, protection, and restoration of natural resources and communities. The company will present “Using Rapid Toxicity Assessments to Optimize Water Quality Testing Budgets.”

The National Water Quality Monitoring Council provides a national forum for water practitioners from governmental organizations, volunteers, academia, watershed and environmental groups and the private sector – to exchange information, develop skills, and foster collaboration and coordination. USGS, EPA, NOAA, state scientists and others will showcase new findings on the quality of the Nation’s streams and groundwater, and highlight recent innovations and tools in water quality monitoring, assessment, and reporting.

The National Water Quality Monitoring Council provides coordination of consistent and scientifically defensible methods and strategies to improve water quality monitoring, assessment and reporting. Promote partnerships to foster collaboration, advance the science, and improve management within all elements of the water quality monitoring community.
